Who is installing your new windshield?

with proper installation your windshield can keep the roof from crushing and killing you. Federal

Vehicle Safety Standard 216 is the roof crush test performed by the government for the safety of
vehicles.
We use only OEM Approved Urethanes and OEM Quality
windshields for our installs.

Repair or replacement?
The advantages to repair versus replacement is that the
repair will save costly dollars in full
replacement. Although we do recommend replacements when the windshield is craked more than 1" long,
we try to repair windshields if possible.
Who is the NGA?
NGA is the National Glass Association. The NGA
sets a standard for glass companies around the nation.
NGA offers a program known as the Auto Glass Technical Institute held in different locations around
the nation every year. Dixie Glass & Trim employs only those technicians that are certified through the
NGA or through Essex Urethanes. To put it in simple terms we hire only the best to do the best
installs.
Do we offer mobile installs?
We do not offer mobile installs because we have always
felt that installs need to be done in a
controlled environment. The factory does not install your windshield outside in the weather, so we
feel that to get the best install the vehicle needs to be in a controlled environment. Your safety
is our top priority.
