Auto Glass Technician

Location: Pascagoula MS

 

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass in a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with auto glass, ensuring that all work meets safety standards and customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and replacement of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.

• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to ensure precise fitting and sealing of glass.

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

• Handle heavy lifting of glass panels and other materials safely and efficiently.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.

 

Requirements

• Previous experience in auto glass installation or related fields is preferred.

• Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment specific to automotive repair.

• Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance practices and procedures.

• Familiarity with dealership environments or auto body repair shops is a plus.

• Knowledge of ADAS technology is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour plus monthly commission

Expected hours: 40 per week
